The Huntsman Lift Kit

I really appreciate the extension kit that raises the kettle up the additional 3 inches. I am a relatively tall guy and so the height of the grill makes a big difference in in comfort when I use it less bending and easier to manage when it’s time to turn food . This is really long overdue and possibly something that could’ve been engineered into the build when it was originally designed. But I appreciate the upgrade.

So there are two perspectives about buying the lift kit. That you should not have to buy something like this, that it should be included. Or, that Spider Grills is a company that listens to customer feedback who then designs and manufactures solutions based on that feedback. Mostly I fall in the second category, buy adding the lift kit after the grill has already been assembled is not simple. Lets be honest here, this grill is not only built like a tank, but as heavy as one too. To install the lift kit, you have to tip this thing over and no matter which direction you go, the weight can damage the area laying down on the ground. Be careful and unless you yourself are a tank, get someone to help. Set it down on a thick soft surface. Overall, a great piece of feedback, whoever gave it and a great company for listening.
