Perfect lift extension to bring up the cooking height for my Weber kettle.

So I had my first problem with the Spider Grill, in all fairness I have had multiple problems with every grill I have ever had with a plug on it. I emailed customer service and then totally expected to get more and more irritated as I waited. To my pleasant surprise, Bodhi and Miles got with me very quickly to diagnose my troubles, it was absolutely amazing customer service! They nailed down the problem, shipped out some parts very quickly, and got me up and going way faster than expected. I was never irritated at all throughout the process and honestly felt like I was the hold up in the process. Kudos Spider I love this grill and I will be buying a giant in the near future as my only complaint is space!

I got two meat probes with the battery add on for my spider venom controller. Works as advertised and very accurate.

I now have one on my 22 and 26. Quality temp controllers which let me not be attached to my grills the whole day. 10/10 Recommend!

Just recently got this. It came as a bundle with the spider venom controller, battery pack and two probes. Have only used it a couple times since I’ve received it and it’s been flawless. The battery pack is really nice when you don’t have an outside plug and you do t want to have cords running through the back door. Also perfect to take it in to go and to be able to cook anywhere where there’s no power options. Great little portable power pack. It’s magnetic so it sticks to the bottom of the spider controller and charges pretty quick. Long battery life and enough to do an overnight cook if needed.

Great grill easy peasy

I received my giant huntsman right before Easter weekend and got it assembled. This thing is an absolute beast but well worth every penny!! I was missing my battery pack so I emailed support and after a few questions they sent my battery pack that was missing. Flash forward a couple of weeks and my other battery pack started to fail as well. I contacted support again and after a few questions they sent me a replacement battery pack. I am still waiting on my cover but I saw that was back ordered. I am thoroughly impressed by how they treat customers and more so the quality of these pits! I will continue to spread the word on you guys and look forward to buying the smaller huntsman to add to my growing collection of what I feel are the best grills out there!!

I received my Giant Hunstman last week after patiently waiting for it to arrive. After trying nearly every other type of smoker/grill on the market, I finally found my soulmate. The Giant Huntsman was built for me I believe. I've used it twice already and already I can vouch for the ease and versatility of this smoker BBQ.

My first cook, was three racks of baby back ribs, cooked low and slow using the 3-2-1 rib method and it was by far the best experience I've ever had making ribs. The Giant fit all three racks perfectly and they turned out amazing. Having the controllability of the venom and the wireless option with the addition of the the battery pack was an absolute game changer. Not having to have it plugged in the whole time opened the door for me to move the Huntsman wherever I wanted with having to drag the unsightly cord across the yard.

This is a great product, and was a game changer for me. I am now able to move my grill and Venom around my yard without having to be near a power outlet and/or drag a extension cord across the yard if I want to use it somewhere other than near my my only outdoor outlet. It lasts for hours and I use it for grilling or smoking without the worry of my Venom loosing power in the middle of a cook. If I want to smoke a brisket low-n-slow, I can put in on when I go to bed and the battery will last through the night and still be blowing in the AM when I wake up. Highly Highly recommend.!.!

Battery lasted through a 10 cook. I put it back on charge once the cook was done.. Powered my Giant Huntsman like a charm no issues with the unit.

I had been looking at this for close to 6 months or so before I ended up purchasing it and I’m glad I finally did. I’ve only used it twice since I installed it onto my 22” Weber kettle as we’ve been having some naders and a ton of rain. From the two times I’ve used it I just did a couple basic cooks and that was a pork butt and then a couple of chuck roasts and ended up doing the chuck roasts as burnt ends over smoked baked potatoes. Both cooks this spider venom held it at a precise 225 degrees the entire time until I moved it up to 275 degrees. I had seen that it had fluctuated a degree once or twice and that’s more than acceptable. I like that I can control a monitor my Weber kettle and run errands and not have to worry just as you would with a pellet grill and ThermoWorks RFX probes. The flavor of charcoal a wood chunks just can’t be beat. Yea you could run an offset smoker but you’re not leaving that unattended for several hours at a time like you can with the spider venom controller. I still will use my pellet grills but I’ve really been doing 90% of my cooks lately on the good ole Weber kettle. I absolutely love this spider venom controller. I’ve been looking at the spider venom kettles and they’re very nice and built like a tank but a premium price and yes you’ll pay for what you get so that Giant Huntsman is on my wish list. If you’re contemplating on picking up the spider venom controller, do it. You won’t regret it.
