I was searching for a charcoal kettle grill that could handle long cooks like a kamodo but also had the set it and forget it ease of a pellet smoker. This does it all fantastically. Also, seems like it will last a lifetime. Only ding I would say is that the app requires a reboot every time I check it. Not the biggest deal. Great grill!

Got my spider grill about 3 weeks ago now. So far, I really like it! Customer service with this company is solid. I had an issue with the brackets that hold the right side tray on (see in picture) and they mailed me a new bracket immediately, fixing the problem.

It’s very well made and feels very heavy duty. I like the venom controller. It takes a bit to dial in and get used too, so prepare to test it out over a few different cooks, but it does work well and is pretty cool technology. The grill does hold its heat well. Prepare to use a lot of charcoal as well. I’m still dialing that in. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and I look forward to cooking and smoking on it this summer.

My only complaint is with the lid attachment that holds the lid tight. It doesn’t open and close very well on my grill. I’ve tried different things and can’t figure that out for some reason. It’s just very finicky and honestly hard to open at times, but it is functional and I believe it will loosen over time.

Awesome!!!! Way to go. Built like a tank. Everything was well packaged and the assembly was simple and all parts and extras were accounted for. I can’t say enough good things. First two cooks were great. Holds temp perfectly and ease of use is just like an oven. Thank you guys!!!!

The legs are well built and was easy to install. Instructions could be more clear but you’ll figure it out eventually. Need to modify the catch can ring a little to fit the legs. I knew that going into it so it was no big deal. I changed the caster wheels for some 5” and now it’s the perfect height for me. It seems the adapter ring is now offered so I would definitely recommend buying that if you don’t want to modify anything.

I am very happy with my Spider purchases. I pimped out a Weber with everything Spider offers (except rotisserie. Perfectly engineered and easy to install. The venom has been super accurate and the legs were backordered for many months but worth the wait. The pizza oven kit is well crafted but I haven’t had the greatest success the 2 times I’ve tried it and hope it’s just a learning curve. I also added just the legs to another Weber without the venom and it was easy to modify and well worth the money. Overall a 10 out of 10.

I've been using a pellet grill for the last 15ish years. but wanted something that would impart more smoke flavor and that I could sear on. So, I started looking at ceramic kamado grills for the last couple of years and almost pulled the trigger a few times. Came across the Huntsman on some YouTube reviews and decided to get one. I will say I'm so happy I did. You get the charcoal flavor and the ease of having easy temperature control of a pellet grill with way more versatility. The build quality is great. It's built like a tank. Not one part of this thing feels cheap. Everything down to the casters seem like quality. Even the tool kit they give you (which somehow, I lost already, but that's my fault) has an actual ratchet and sockets and a zipper pouch. Not some bendy Allen key like everything else you buy. The venom system works perfectly and is easily controlled from the front panel or from my smartphone. So far it seems to hold temps perfectly. I absolutely love this grill. I never leave reviews on anything, but I feel like the Huntsman and Spider Grills deserve it.

So there are two perspectives about buying the lift kit. That you should not have to buy something like this, that it should be included. Or, that Spider Grills is a company that listens to customer feedback who then designs and manufactures solutions based on that feedback. Mostly I fall in the second category, buy adding the lift kit after the grill has already been assembled is not simple. Lets be honest here, this grill is not only built like a tank, but as heavy as one too. To install the lift kit, you have to tip this thing over and no matter which direction you go, the weight can damage the area laying down on the ground. Be careful and unless you yourself are a tank, get someone to help. Set it down on a thick soft surface. Overall, a great piece of feedback, whoever gave it and a great company for listening.

Easy to assemble, love the locking wheels. Lift kit is a must.

Must have accessory. Sturdy. Nice that they fold down so the cover fits over the whole unit. Would highly recommend!

Like everything Spidergrills does, this is absolutely amazing and was a gamechanger for my set-up.

Currently running a weber kettle with a ceramic charcoal basket, webcraft ring, and venom. The old legs were not able to handle the weight and the kettle was a pain to move around with the old wheels.

With the new kettlecart i can move this thing with one hand and its incredibly sturdy even with all my add-ons.

Tl:Dr - well built, easy to assemble and must have with heavy grill accessories
