The Huntsman Lift Kit

Works great! Not recommended by Huntsman as it could make it a risk to tip. However, for my review, it does/did not present a risk. Whether the wheels are locked or unlocked, in order to knock it over, it would take considerable effort and force. If the wheels are unlocked, the unit would roll, long before you could tip it over. However, in the grass, it would be easier if you were trying to tip it over, and you would still have to be trying to tip it. If you weigh enough to tip it over, when the wheels are locked, by leaning against it, as if it was an immovable object.... well your risk of diabetes or heart attack is probably a bigger risk than tipping it over. Just sayin. I had to rotate the ash bucket handle so it didn't contact the support, but that was no problem of course. It is right at 37 1/4 inches from the concrete to the top of the steel with the lid open, and about 5/8" from the top of the steel down to the cooking grate... so about 36 5/8" from concrete to grate. Perfect for me, at 6'-4"ish tall. I switched out the furnished 6 mm bolts with stainless steel bolts and washers. They just happen to be socket head. I switched them all to SS when I assembled the unit. If you do that, you better put anti-seize on the threads or you may be sorry later if you need to remove them. The only other affect I see from raising it is, the cover looks like someone wearing highwaters.

The lift kit was fairly easy to install and made a big difference in comfort standing at the grill. I was able to do it alone by use of a two-wheeled dolly (hand truck) and a motorcycle ratchet strap. Laying down and raising upright was smooth: All bolts tightened after uprighting.
Highly recommend the lift kit.
