I love this integration with the Huntsman. The components are well designed and high quality. It is a missing hook for the coal rake since you have to replace the hanger and the shallow distance from the coals requiring a little bit more attention. Nothing that you can’t live with.
Just cooked a 6 lb. chicken today. Everything is heavy duty. Using a battery is great so you don’t have to plug it in. 10/10!
I thought it worked well but the device sits very low so I had a hard time getting a drip tray under a chicken but the chicken turned out very good. Word of warning, if you have your temp probe in the back don’t try to build a fire in the back or you will not get accurate temps.
I love this pit. Holds temperature extremely well. I've used this almost exclusively considering I have 3 other pits to choose from. It's so simple to use.
