This is a great kettle kamado and the integrations around the venom are awesome. I love this grill.
What’s been so great is the customer service. The guys genuinely care about their customers and fixing issues. The issue I had with assembly was fixed beyond my expectations. This is a product you can buy with confidence and it is a tank. It is built to last a long time. Pull the trigger.

I’ve had my huntsman for a couple weeks now and have no complaints. I’ve had a kamado grill before and it was a lot of work, you can’t just set the temp and walk away for awhile. This is very easy. Start your fire set your temp and you’re good. From low and slow to high temp sears the huntsman excels, and its built like a tank so i you’ll be using it for years to come.
The Spider Grills Huntsman has been an utterly fantastic grill. Easy to assemble, high quality materials, and designed with foresight to ensure this will be a grill that will last forever unlike your typical smart grills where you're left with a pile of metal if the electronics ever break. It 22" Weber like design means that there are plenty of aftermarket parts designed for the classic Weber will be compatible with the Huntsman as well.
The Venom PID fan controller functions well with the thick walls and keeps the overnight cooking temperature steady without me having to tend to it. Just need to make sure it has enough charcoal and go straight to bed. A side door to the charcoal is the best thing ever for adding more charcoal and a great way to sneak in some foil wrapped potatoes during a low and slow cook. Already cooked 2 lumps of Pork Shoulders & 6 racks of ribs and each time the cook came out perfect with that wonderful wood smoke flavor. Next up, briskets and I have no doubt that it's going to perform perfectly!!!
I love to smoke and grill. I have had multiple different devices over the years. As many as 5 or 6 at one time. This is bye far my favorite. It can do it all it all, I love the battery pack. It is built to last. If I only had one grill this would be it!
My only two very small wishes. I wish it was a couple of inches taller. I know they had a beta riser set that is not currently available. I also would like a little better fit on the ash catch. Mine doesn't line up/ fit without a little work.
I give it a 9.5 out of 10!
